Collaborating hand-in-hand with Western Design + Build, we helped bring warmth and organic movement to this stunning Uplands residence. Our custom millwork perfectly complemented the modern coastal vibe, incorporating natural materials and thoughtful design to enhance the home’s unique architectural shell. From solid slab wood cabinetry to elegant curves and textures, every detail was crafted to create a timeless, functional space that reflects the homeowner’s understated elegance.
West Isle Industries provided the full scope of architectural millwork across the project. Our work included bathroom millwork with integrated solid surface sinks, as well as millwork throughout classrooms, kitchen areas including solid surface countertops, benches, breakout rooms, and shared common spaces. The project demanded a high level of coordination and consistency across a wide variety of applications, all delivered to meet the durability and performance requirements of a high-traffic institutional setting.
Located in downtown Langford, the campus represents a first-of-its-kind partnership between Royal Roads University, the University of Victoria, Camosun College, and the Justice Institute of British Columbia, with additional programming space for School District 62 (Sooke). It stands as a strong example of collaborative infrastructure supporting education and community growth on Vancouver Island.
