We had the pleasure of collaborating with Jason and the talented team at TOTL Construction on this breathtaking waterfront home in Sidney. Designer Jamie Banfield brought an incredible vision to the project, blending bold aesthetic choices with refined details, and we were thrilled to help bring that vision to life for his client. Our work included crafting all of the cabinetry, the striking kitchen island, a custom range hood, built-ins, bathroom vanities, and even a bespoke headboard. Each piece was designed and built to complement the home’s bold aesthetic and high-end finishings, while enhancing its functionality and flow. From the stunning seaside setting to the fine craftsmanship in every room, this was a truly rewarding project and a testament to what can be achieved when great design, skilled trades, and a shared passion for excellence come together.
West Isle Industries provided the full scope of architectural millwork across the project. Our work included bathroom millwork with integrated solid surface sinks, as well as millwork throughout classrooms, kitchen areas including solid surface countertops, benches, breakout rooms, and shared common spaces. The project demanded a high level of coordination and consistency across a wide variety of applications, all delivered to meet the durability and performance requirements of a high-traffic institutional setting.
Located in downtown Langford, the campus represents a first-of-its-kind partnership between Royal Roads University, the University of Victoria, Camosun College, and the Justice Institute of British Columbia, with additional programming space for School District 62 (Sooke). It stands as a strong example of collaborative infrastructure supporting education and community growth on Vancouver Island.
