Berwick Supported Living, Parksville

2021

At Berwick Parksville, we crafted custom millwork to complement the warm and inviting atmosphere of this elevated oceanside community. From beautifully designed common areas to functional yet elegant spaces, our work highlights the natural beauty of the surroundings while fostering a sense of comfort and connection. This project embodies the perfect blend of craftsmanship and resort-inspired living.

West Isle Industries provided the full scope of architectural millwork across the project. Our work included bathroom millwork with integrated solid surface sinks, as well as millwork throughout classrooms, kitchen areas including solid surface countertops, benches, breakout rooms, and shared common spaces. The project demanded a high level of coordination and consistency across a wide variety of applications, all delivered to meet the durability and performance requirements of a high-traffic institutional setting.

Located in downtown Langford, the campus represents a first-of-its-kind partnership between Royal Roads University, the University of Victoria, Camosun College, and the Justice Institute of British Columbia, with additional programming space for School District 62 (Sooke). It stands as a strong example of collaborative infrastructure supporting education and community growth on Vancouver Island.
