The Foundry Clinic in Victoria is a vital resource offering young people access to mental health, substance use support, peer assistance, and social services. Our work included creating welcoming and functional spaces, with custom millwork that reflects the clinic’s supportive and inclusive mission. The result is an environment designed to foster comfort, trust, and connection for those seeking care.
West Isle Industries provided the full scope of architectural millwork across the project. Our work included bathroom millwork with integrated solid surface sinks, as well as millwork throughout classrooms, kitchen areas including solid surface countertops, benches, breakout rooms, and shared common spaces. The project demanded a high level of coordination and consistency across a wide variety of applications, all delivered to meet the durability and performance requirements of a high-traffic institutional setting.
Located in downtown Langford, the campus represents a first-of-its-kind partnership between Royal Roads University, the University of Victoria, Camosun College, and the Justice Institute of British Columbia, with additional programming space for School District 62 (Sooke). It stands as a strong example of collaborative infrastructure supporting education and community growth on Vancouver Island.
